About Us
At Christopher Robin we aim to deliver high quality customer service and an efficient delivery service, with a range of options.
We welcome all customer feed back and welcome your ideas for any changes or improvements to our website - please feel free to email us at sales@christopher-robin.co.uk
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
ORDERING
Ordering is simple, easy and secure.
View and add items to your basket - you will be able to remove items and change quantities at the checkout before your order is processed. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Switch, Delta, Solo, and Electron cards.
Remittance Terms Payment is taken at the point of shipping, this is to ensure that we charge for what was shipped including any amendments. Payment will be pre-authorized through our secure payment processing gateway provided by Velocity Pay
Security
We guarantee that every online purchase you make from our store is a secure transaction. Our site uses the strongest commercially available level of encryption, 128-bit Secure Socket Layers (SSL) provided by protx. This ensures that your transactions are secure and your information cannot be redirected to anyone but Christopher Robin. A yellow padlock appears in your browser as you enter the Checkout section of our site to show it is encrypted.
Prices
All our prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% (where applicable) and are only subject to post and packing charges. Our prices are constantly being reviewed but this should not affect your order. The price the customer will pay for an item will be as shown for that item at the time the order was placed.
Product Variations
Because of our large range and the nature of our product, we cannot guarantee that all items are immediately available. In the event your item is not in stock, we will contact you with an approximate back order date, offer you an alternative or give you the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Because of the type of products we offer, there can be minor variations in colour and style. This does not affect your statutory rights.
To ensure continuation of our stock we can and do obtain the same products from more than one source. The result of this is that packaging might differ from that shown in the catalogue. We reserve the right to alter our catalogue descriptions and prices at any time.
Many of the photographs and descriptions listed on the site are provided by the manufacturer or distributor. Changes can occur in content, colour or design of items shown.
Returns policy
We operate a no quibbles guarantee which means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can simply return it to us within SEVEN DAYS from the date of the invoice in the condition that it was despatched to you. However due to the nature of fancy dress costumes we do expect customers realise costumes are not tailored to individual size and do require a bit of "give and take". Packaging must be included and must not be damaged (this includes header cards being folded) and we will issue you with a refund for the price you paid for the item.
Returns Forms ask for the information we need in order to process your return. All items must have a Returns Form or we will be unable to process the return.
We do not refund shipping costs: it is your responsibility to return items to us; we recommend recorded delivery or Royal Mail special delivery. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are being returned. This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid. In the case of cheque payment a cheque will be issued payable to the original customer You must follow our instructions for returning goods (see below).
If the return is due to an error we have made we will gladly refund the delivery charges. Please see contact details below for advice.
If the item is either faulty or damaged please contact our Returns team who will arrange for a replacement or refund: however, no replacement or refund will be given until we have received the item back from you.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to personal hygiene teeth, eyelashes, facial hair, tights and wigs cannot be returned.

You agree that use of the service is entirely at your own risk. Specifically, we disclaim any and all warranties, including without limitation:
1. any warranties concerning the availability, accuracy or content of information, products or services; and
2. any warranties of title or warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
This disclaimer of liability applies to any damages or injury caused by any failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of record, whether for breach of contract, tortious behavior, negligence, or under any other cause of action. You specifically acknowledge the service is not liable for the defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of other customers or third-parties and that the risk of injury from the foregoing rests entirely with the customer.
Neither the service nor any of its agents, affiliates or content providers shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of use of the service or inability to gain access to or use the service or out of any breach of any warranty. You hereby acknowledge that the provisions of this section shall apply to all content on the service.

Other
The laws of England and Wales shall govern the contract between us, and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
